The food is very salty. We have to drink a lot of water. We came on Friday night at 6PM. All the table was fully booked. Service is great. Portion for red curry with duck is a bowl.
The best Thai food I've had in a very long time. Exceptional customer service combined with finger licking delicious food. Extremely cost effective with good size servings! The restaurant is cozy with a wonderful atmosphere. Canberra is notorious for its expensive restaurants but Joe's Thai Food beats the odds! We are so happy to find out about Joe's. I guess we will eating at Joe's every fortnight.

I looooove Joe's Thai Food! My only issue is that is a little too far from my home for me to go regularly. Although it's probably a good thing for my waistline! The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but it's clean, comfortable and modern. I think Joe's is one of the best Thai restaurant in Canberra. Joe has been cooking Thai food in Canberra at different restaurants for more than 15 years. I love the crispy calamari but everything we've had has always been good! We enjoy family dinners at Joe's when we can.
I really don’t want to do this but I have ordered takeout from Joes several times as had my son.
But this time the it was disappointing.
The Pork Larb was so salty I couldn’t eat it and the coconut rice was coloured but had not a taste of coconut at all.

Everything was tasty, food came quickly and good prices. We got the green curry, pork stir fry, mince stuffed eggplant and drunken noodles.
Our go to Thai restaurant. Pad Thai, Panang, Laksa, Fried rice... These guys don't miss. Great food, great service, fair prices.
